How Should We Worship God? “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24).

Why Do We Stand To Sing? “Then the Levites...stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with voices loud and high” (2 Chron. 20:19). “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne...and crying out with a loud voice.” (Rev. 7:9-10).Why Do We Clap Our Hands? “Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph” (Psalm 47:1).

Why Do We Lift Our Hands? “Thus I bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name” (Ps. 63:4). “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord” (Ps. 134:2). “Therefore I desire that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting” (1 Tim. 2:8).

Why Do We Have Audible Praise Unto God? “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name” (Ps. 103:1). “Let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name” (Heb. 13:15). “...I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, ‘Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power to the Lord our God’...And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude…” (Rev. 19:1,6).

Why Do We Receive Tithes and Offerings? “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now in this, says the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it” (Mal. 3:10). “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you” (Luke 6:38).
